This giant beach chair was made by the beach chair manufacturer 'Korbwerk', which invested over 1,000 working hours into this extraordinary chair. But that's not all: It also used 3.5 m3 of wood, 85 m² of fabric, and 3 km of woven band.

Vineta Festival in Zinnowitz
Every summer, Zinnowitz transforms into a festival stage where the legendary tale of the city of Vineta is enacted.
The Legend of Vineta
The legend tells that Vineta did not sufficiently value its riches. The city was filled with gold, silver, velvet, and silk. Even the pigs ate from golden troughs. For this behavior, Vineta was to be punished and threatened to be swallowed by the sea.
Just before the impending doom, the legacy of the Water Women appears. It states that if three righteous citizens could be found in the corrupt city, Vineta could be saved from destruction. Two (somewhat) honest citizens are quickly found. Only the third one does not want to reveal his honest secret - only his beloved knows it.

In the three Kaiser Baths, magnificent villas line up one after the other. None of them are alike. However, they all share an abundance of ornate decorative elements like turrets, balustrades, wide staircases, and stucco.
Pearls of Usedom
They were built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries as extravagant summer residences for the Berlin high society. They often remind one of the lavish villas from Grunewald, Wannsee, or Lichterfelde.
The three Kaiser Baths are lined up like pearls on a string. They are connected by an 8.5 km long promenade, which is the longest in Europe.
But in the Kaiser Baths, you are not just dreaming of the past. You can also relax on the sandy beach and enjoy the tranquility and expanse of the sea. You can even fly kites, admire the bizarre ice landscapes in winter, or actively recuperate on or in the water.
Did you know? Already in the 19th century, nobility, wealthy citizens, and artists loved to spend their summers in the three noble seaside resorts Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf, and Bansin on Usedom's dream beaches. Hence, they proudly refer to themselves today as the Kaiser Baths.
